APC, a leader in B2B services, boosts productivity with AI by 23% thanks to AI adoption

The APC management participated in workshops with the founder of AutomAIze to establish a shared vision, motivations, and challenges related to AI. As an AI transformation partner, Innsyte carried out the following stages:

• Audit and Strategy – dedicated workshops helped APC define motivations, business goals, and the vision for AI integration.
• Use cases - intensive sessions identified AI opportunities in B2B services in the pharmaceutical sector.
• AI feasibility study – after selecting key use cases, Innsyte and APC assessed their feasibility in collaboration with the relevant departments of the company.
• Plan and next steps – the priority was actions to increase daily productivity, including translation automation.

As a result, APC received two options: building a translation automation platform or training in Generative AI for daily productivity. APC decided on training in translation automation to maximize business value.

During the 6-hour training session, we discussed both the advantages and limitations of AI, with a particular focus on Generative AI. APC was introduced to three key tools – ChatGPT, DeepL, and Perplexity – as part of a structured approach:

• Theoretical Introduction – Overview of the Capabilities and Limitations of AI
• 11 tailored use cases in ChatGPT – Presentation of applications customized to the specific needs of APC
• 6 personalized exercises – Practical tasks that enhance the understanding of each tool
• Dedicated GPT assistant – A personalized AI solution for the preliminary assessment of the compliance of Information Documents (SID) and Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC) with Polish regulations, which can be extended to other jurisdictions.

These cases have been adapted to the pharmaceutical industry, aiming to increase productivity, support innovation, and improve compliance with regulations. The pilot phase is scheduled for October 2024.

APC is currently in the pilot phase, testing these AI tools to assess their impact on productivity. The results will be reanalyzed in November 2024 to evaluate progress and determine next steps.
